Alicia + Tim’s Sweet Family Farm Wedding

When horse trainers Alicia and Tim got engaged, it was no question that they would be married at Alicia’s New Jersey family farm, where the couple met. With her keen sense of classic sophistication, the bride created many of the beautiful elements and included several sentimental details that made their wedding so special. The result was a gorgeous (and fun!) outdoor fall affair.
Alicia and I have grown up together since second grade, so I was incredibly honored when Alicia asked me to design her wedding stationery. She had already designed lovely mason jar centerpieces with lace and burlap to be used as a theme throughout the wedding celebrations, and we both thought it was the perfect graphic for the couple’s stationery. It was carried across the save the date, bridal shower invitation, and the wedding invitation suite.
Congratulations Alicia and Tim!
No one was left out of the big day, not the couple’s two dogs as ring bearers, not the horses who provided the backdrop for the event, nor even Pedro, the resident donkey, who received his own floral garland.
Alicia hand made many of the details, such as the beautiful center pieces, signs, and even jewelry for the bridesmaids and herself to wear on the big day!
The bride and groom appropriately chose The Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” for their first dance. As a wedding gift, Alicia gave Tim custom made cuff links with map points from his home town and the town in which he proposed to her.
